Placenta Services
"It makes sense that the placenta almost looks like a tree
with many branches - a tree of life" ~ Ricki Lake
Placenta encapsulation has become a more mainstream practice as people have discovered its countless benefits during the postpartum period, or fourth trimester. All mammals, including vegetarian species, intuitively consume their placentas and replenish their iron levels, balance hormones, and lessen postpartum bleeding. Many clients report that they have seen increased milk production, experience less baby blues, and have an increase in energy levels when ingesting placenta capsules.
For those looking for even more from their placenta, a tincture is an additional way of preserving the placenta's compounds to extend its shelf life indefinitely. Clients have found that a tincture is helpful in reducing PMS when their cycles return postpartum, and some put a tincture away for hormone replacement in early menopause or when their newborn daughter (who has shared the placenta) starts her cycle. Additional offerings also include a placenta butter from the dried placenta, organic oils, and herbs that are useful for stretch marks, perineal stitches and tearing, scars (such as from a c-section), wrinkles, eczema, diaper rash, under-eye circles, and other skin ailments.
