Nicole Moffitt
Birth Doula,
Educator
&
Placenta Encapsulation specialist
Nicole’s journey to find her calling began with the births of her two beautiful blessings. Her daughter and her son's births stirred a fire in her heart to become a birth worker. Nicole’s own experiences helped her to reflect and realize how much support we need as birthing mothers.
Her passion for dance led to completing a certification as a Dancing For Birth™ instructor in 2014. Nicole believes the power of dance prenatally can help moms-to-be achieve a positive actuality during labor and birth. Joining the Dancing For Birth™ organization really helped affirm her calling to doula work. Nicole soon "accidentally" attended her sister's birth and a doula was born.
Nicole has been a certified pharmacy technician for 15 years. She worked in a compounding lab for 5 years. Nicole graduated from Sonography school in 2010 and worked as an ultrasound technician before changing trajectory into birth work.
As a trained birth and postpartum doula, she wants to be there for others making the journey through pregnancy, birthing, and beyond. Nicole aspires to be a source of comfort and unbiased guidance. Her role as your doula is to simply listen and respond to the support you need. She approaches your birth space calmly, with a heart of servitude and resolute. Overall, Nicole wants her clients to feel respected and valued. This is your birth!
Outside of being a Doula, she has also served as a surrogate. Nicole embarked on a beautiful journey being a vessel to a sweet family. She enjoys dancing for self-care, guiding Jam Team at her church, spending time with her wonderful husband, and raising her children one day at a time.
