Lisa is a BEST certified birth and postpartum doula, with additional training in breastfeeding and formula feeding. She believes in unconditional, non-judgmental support for all families. Lisa is a natural born caretaker, and truly loves helping guide a new family through those first tender weeks and months.
Lisa's warmth and compassionate nature are usually the first things people notice about her. She genuinely connects with her clients, and takes pride in caring deeply for them, anticipating their needs, and reminding them to take care of themselves, whether that means asking if they've taken their supplements, making sure their water bottle is always full, or gently suggesting some fresh air and sunshine might do wonders. The second thing people notice is her sense of humor. She loves to laugh and often finds humor in everyday life.
Lisa has a passion for cooking, and enjoys spoiling her clients with warm postpartum nutrition and meal prep, when time allows. She leads the NDDA meal concierge program which provides families with recipes, shopping and meal prep during pregnancy and postpartum. This program was developed by Lisa in hopes of allowing families to completely focus on their pregnancy or new baby while an expert provides nutritious, healthy and quick meals.
Lisa actively continues her education by attending seminars and trainings on topics such as evidence-based comfort measures, tongue and lip ties, maternal mental health, pregnancy in advanced age, and plus-sized pregnancy.
Lisa is married to the funniest man alive, and they have two teenagers and two dogs. Together they enjoy going to movies, listening to live music, and sitting on the beach as often as possible. In her free time Lisa enjoys reading, listening to music, and trying new cuisines.
