Leah LaHue
Birth Doula & Educator
Leah LaHue began supporting families in February of 2019 with a focus on childbirth preparation and postpartum care. She completed the Global Education of the Midwife Birth Doula certification program and began working alongside a mentor.
Prior to birth work, Leah studied at the School of Metaphysics where she became an interfaith counselor and life coach. She taught full time classes to hundreds of people on the mind/body connection, meditation, concentration, visualization and manifestation for 8 years.
Leah has had two births that drove her to the edge of what she thought was possible. They were magical. They were emotional. They were challenging and exhausting. Through this, her desire to make a cultural impact on how mothers and families are born was ignited.
With her understanding of the mind/ body connection, Leah helps birthing people to process and express the challenging emotions that arise as they adjust their minds, hearts and bodies to this transformative time. In doing so, she helps to activate the mental component that creates a peaceful and fulfilling birth experience.
Leah and her family are renovating a 31 foot school bus as a tiny home! She is also an avid photographer and enjoys being able to utilize this passion as well, even if it is on her smart phone.
Leah is married with two young, rambunctious boys that keep her on her toes. She is also an avid photographer and enjoys being able to utilize this passion to capture your birth story, even if it is on her smart phone.
