Emily Liddell is a CAPPA trained postpartum doula. She is passionate about birth, postpartum, and motherhood. Emily's enthusiasm for postpartum was strengthened during her own experiences with her four children. She experienced postpartum depression after each child was born and has become a strong advocate for postpartum mental health and awareness. Emily aims to give each of her clients personalized care and attention during their postpartum period, helping to educate and provide resources as needed. She believes each and every family should have support following birth.
Emily’s faith is a strong force in her life. She greatly values being authentic and present in relationships and makes this a priority with her clients as well. Her goal is to truly serve each family, in a nonjudgmental way, understanding that everyone has different needs during their postpartum time.
Emily was born and raised in the Dallas area. She currently lives in Richardson with her husband, their four children, and two dogs. Emily is a homeschooling mother by day and enjoys making learning a lifestyle for her family. She also enjoys being outdoors, reading by the fire, knitting, gardening, and decluttering the ever-present excess in their home. Emily is grateful to be able to work alongside her sister, Meredith, who is one of NDDA’s birth doulas!
