Courtney is a native Texan who started out her education with an associate’s degree in science with plans to pursue a nursing career. After working on a women’s services floor along with IBCLC’s, she discovered her passion for working with mother’s as well as their infants. She completed her CLEC certification as well as her Lactation certification at UCSD with over 300 clinical hours. Courtney had the opportunity to learn from the best of the best in both the classroom and clinical setting. While attending school, she worked for a well respected local OBGYN practice. Courtney also had the sacred and moving experience working with hospice patients.  With this knowledge, she has a special appreciation and understanding of the body’s natural way of preparing for both the beginning as well as the end. Courtney has a strong passion for educating women about the amazing things her body can naturally do to care for her infant. She cannot wait to share her passion and knowledge with breastfeeding clients and help to create a better feeding experience for all families.

Courtney’s pride and joy is her fur baby named Sky who she rescued as a puppy. You can often find her the dog park being an amazing mom to Sky or enjoying some Mexican food with family and friends.  As a former softball player of over 13 years, Courtney is a lover of all sports but especially enjoys baseball here in Texas. She also loves to travel in her spare time.
