Becca Hartmeier
Birth Doula & Educator
Becca Hartmeier is a BEST-certified Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator. She has additional training in TENS Unit pain management support. Becca is also bilingual in Spanish.
Before becoming a Doula, Becca spent many years in the corporate world. Through her time there, she realized that she wanted to find a career in which she could truly make a difference and specifically help women. She felt drawn to the birth community and had a strong interest in all things birth, which was amplified as she began having close friends become pregnant and give birth. She found herself wanting to learn all about their experience in pregnancy and their birth story, sparing no detail.
Becca provides a comfortable environment where you can come as you are and feel seen, heard, and supported. No two births are the same and therefore she believes in providing a tailored approach to fit your specific needs. Becca loves helping birthing people find their strength to not only get through labor, but to feel educated and empowered. She provides unbiased and nonjudgmental support for not only her Jewish community, but for all families, beliefs, and backgrounds. Becca believes that knowledge truly is power. Her goal is to provide you with the proper tools and support to turn fear and anxiety into confidence and strength.
Becca grew up in Louisville, KY and moved to Texas following college. She and her husband reside in Plano with their fur baby. When she isn’t supporting families, she can be found spending time with friends and family, cooking, and traveling.
Becca looks forward to meeting you and finding the best ways to support you during your pregnancy and birth!
