Amy is a registered nurse who has experience working in both the emergency room and the operating room. She received her BSN at Texas Christian University and has a Bachelors of Arts from the University of North Texas. Amy is currently certified in both adult and pediatric life support and holds duel certifications in pediatric and adult emergency trauma care. She also has extensive experience working with children as a full time nanny in college and as a mentor for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
After struggling through fertility treatments to get pregnant, Amy discovered her passion to support and empower women in all stages of their journey to become mothers. While she serves families of all backgrounds, she has a heart for helping and educating same sex couples in their journey to parenthood. Amy strongly believes in non-judgmental, equal supportive care for all families.
Amy is a Texan by birth and Houstonian at heart. She and her wife reside in Dallas with their daughter, dog, and cat. When she isn't working she loves exploring different countries and cultures with her family, being an aunt, and connecting with her community. She hopes one day to add more human and fur babies to the mix.
